The Chor zur Welt’s singers are from over 20 nations and usually sing a colourful programme featuring music from all of the members’ home regions. This will also be the focus in the first half of the upcoming season: as part of the »Brazilian Legends« festival, music from Brazil is on the programme of the Elbphilharmonie’s participatory ensemble – »música popular brasileira«, or »MPB«, which Brazilians also affectionately call »nossa música« (our music).
